Automation Engineer - Programming and Commissioning
Permanent - £30K to £60K depending on experience

The Automation Engineer will be programming and commissioning and will spend 50/50 of the time at the Head office at the client site. You will have a company van that can be used for private mileage. You should be a positive thinker, flexible, and able to work as part of a team. You could have experience as a manufacturing Maintenance Engineer and seek a new environment and challenge.
The Automation Engineer's Responsibilities;
- Carry out full system commissioning which can include software, mechanical and electrical competence
- SIte installation, software integrations, and commissioning
- 3. Assist with R & D on the software and software development for existing and new products
- Customer Training
- Technical Support both remotely ad on-site for engineers and clients
Skills & Experience
The Automation Engineer plays a key part within a team and should have the following skills ad experience/certificates
- Clean driving license
- Experience as a Maintenance Engineer
- Good education to A level including maths and physics or similar
- Reasonable Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Access
- Understanding of PLC Programming for automated machinery
- Creating electrical designs for machinery
- Electrical training and qualification
- KUKA robot programming training and experience - advantage
- Robot programming
- App writing - C++/C# would be beneficial
- Able to adhere to follow safety procedures
