Field Service Engineer (Electro-mechanical) - £30K + Company Vehicle

South West including Plymouth and Devon

An opportunity has arisen to join the team as a Field Service Engineer to maintain and service a variety of equipment for the retail industry. 

You will need electro-mechanical skills,  IT, and be a good communicator as you will be interacting with customers onsite.  

Dealing with changing priorities makes a highly reactive, fast-paced, and challenging environment. Working to tight deadlines and having a can-do attitude is key. 

Ensuring all products are maintained and serviced within agreed service levels. You will liaise with Head Office in Haverhill Suffolk and will liaise with a team of highly trained Call Desk Operators. Working will be on a rota basis and on weekdays and weekends. There will also be opportunities to maintain technical training and personal development

Field Service Engineer Duties: 

We have a wide range of equipment, PC-based weighing, scanners, printers, and new emerging technology such as lockers and dispensers.

  • Repair and service all equipment to a high standard in accordance with the Company and ISO9001 procedures.
  • Establish and maintain good internal and external customer relationships
  • Complete all call closure and necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Work with H&S legislation and regulations, and comply with the legal framework
  • Maintain your vehicle stock to ensure First-Time-Fix Liaise with our Service Delivery Team to ensure we meet customer service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Maintain your technical training and personal development to ensure expertise
  • Adhere to Lone Working, Manual Handling, and Health & Safety standards at all times
  • There will be weekend working
