Procurement Manager - £50K

Haverhill - Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm

An opportunity has arisen to work for a highly successful, established business based in Haverhill in a manufacturing environment as a Procurement Manager. This is a manufacturing company for the retail industry where you will also be responsible for Import/Export and Fleet Management. It's a varied role, so should be able to multi-task, whilst managing the Buyer and Assistant Purchaser. CIPS qualified with strong negotiating skills and the ability to deliver on several projects. The Procurement Manager will enjoy a fantastic benefits package and competitive salary.

Main Duties of Procurement Manager

  • Manage the procurement function including direct management of your team.
  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts and commercial terms.
  • Manage and develop supplier management with key partners, suppliers, and sub-contractors
  • Manage Import/Export
  • Managing the operation of the company fleet.
  • Managing obsolete stock
  • Ensure ISO requirements are met to maintain the company's accreditation.
  • Establish and manage an effective Warranty Returns process.

Qualifications and Experience

  • CIPS Quals
  • Import/Export experience
  • Fleet Management 
  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts
  • Experience of the full procurement proceses
