Project Manager - Permanent

Haverhill - £50,500 p.a

This is a highly successful manufacturing company who are seeking an experienced Project Manager who has a professional approach to join their team. They manufacture and supply equipment to the retail industry. You will need strong leadership skills as you will be managing an internal team and liaising with customers to ensure the projects are completed on time and within budget. You will be working on several projects at a time so multi-tasking skills and knowledge ISO to maintain company accreditation. 

Project Manager Responsibilities

  • To drive and take ownership of the delivery to completion of assigned projects.
  • Fully understand the client requirements for the projects, documenting and communicating with the rest of the company team.
  • Create and communicate required project documentation including Project Scope, Project Plans, a record of Project Costs, and a Risk Register.
  • Chair regular internal project meetings.
  • Risk Management.
  • Set up and chair regular Project Checkpoint meetings with the customer with the relevant company Account Manager.
  • Communicate with the team, contractors, and customers, ensuring the achievement of the Project Plan.
  • Ensure costs are not likely to exceed the calculation when pricing the project.
  • Coordinate the transition from Project to "Business as usual", ensuring training requirements are met.
  • Identify any process improvements
  • The Project Manager should identify issues early, and assess and mitigate them quickly.

Skills and Quals:

  • Experience in a broad range of technical projects.
  • Track record of achievement in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft skills especially Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Agile Trained
  • It's desirable for the Project Manager to be Prince 2 qualified.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Strong sense of initiative and ownership
  • Ability to manage conflict
