Shift Manager - Permanent - £40K
Food Manufacturing - Luton
Hours of work - 3 am to 3 pm 4 on, 4 off
The company is a food manufacturing organisation looking for a Shift Manager to complement their team. This is a new position, the company is expanding so it would be a good time to hop on board. You would report to the Operations Manager and primarily oversee and manage the operations and activities within your area. Previous managerial experience is key, preferably within the food industry. It's a fast-moving environment and requires effective leadership, managing KPIs, compliance, and driving continuous improvement within your section. The Shift Manager should have proven experience in leading teams and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience & Skills:
As Shift Manager you will need strong leadership and a variety of skills,
- Previous managerial experience in a KPI-driven environment.
- Strong ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude, while providing excellent customer service.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety including food safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication as you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
